| Dr Jaya Prakash Pradhan (PhD) is an Assistant Professor in the Institute.
He has worked as a Faculty in the Gujarat Institute of Development Research and served as a consultant to the Research and Information System for the Non-Aligned and Other Developing Countries (RIS), New Delhi. He has been involved in research projects sponsored by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Geneva. His books include Indian Multinationals in the World Economy (Bookwell Publisher, New Delhi, 2008), Transnationalization of Indian Pharmaceutical SMEs (Bookwell Publisher, New Delhi, 2008) and Industrialization, Economic Reforms and Regional Development (Shipra Publisher, New Delhi, 2005). Published over thirty research papers, his current research focuses on issues concerning emerging Indian multinationals and internationalization of India’s knowledge-based industries.
He is a founding member of the Koshala Development Forum (KDF), New Delhi for undertaking research activities on the issues of under-development and deprivations in the Koshala region of India. He has some inclination for literature and has published over 34 poems in various Oriya literary magazines and newspapers.
