Santosh Kumar Das is an Assistant Professor at the Institute. His
research interests include Macroeconomics, Industrial Finance, Financial Liberalization and its
Implications, and Political Economy. In addition, he is interested to work in the area of macroeconomics
of financial crisis and its implications for growth and distribution.
He holds a Doctorate degree in economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi with focus on
Macroeconomics. His current work includes Asset Quality of Indian Scheduled Commercial Banks and
Implications of Financial Liberalization for Industrial Development in India.
